When Jenson Button ended his extended wait for an F1 win at the 2006 Hungarian Grand Prix, the late illustrator Jim Bamber came up with a famous cartoon. It depicted Button holding the winner’s trophy and peering over his shoulder to find a giant monkey perched on his back.
