As per the police, victims were men whom the accused used to offer lift in his car, and then rob and kill if they resisted.

Ram Saroop, aged 33, has been apprehended for allegedly murdering 11 men in Punjab over 18 months. With ongoing investigations, police have verified five cases linked to the suspect, who confessed to his crimes and displayed remorse.

The 33-year-old man, who operated primarily on highways in Punjab, confessed that he couldn't accept slurs about his body and identity, and his last murder was directly linked to such remarks.
