A script for Oregon Trail is reportedly in the works from The Lucas Brothers and Max Reisman.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, an "Oregon Trail" action-comedy movie is in development at Apple, and is inspired by the video game.

Will Speck and Josh Gordon are attached to direct with Benj Pasek and Justin Paul producing and providing original music for the project.
