Speed appears to be a factor in a deadly crash that killed a 69-year-old man on Interstate 95 in Maine on Thursday morning, state police said.

GARDINER, Maine (WGME) -- A Maine man is dead after a crash on I-95 in Sidney. Maine State Police say a Nissan pickup truck driven by 69-year-old Philip Marson of Gardiner went off the road and crashed into some trees in the median on I-95 southbound around 7 a.m.

YORK (WGME) - A crash on the Maine Turnpike involving two tractor trailer trucks is under investigation on Thursday night. It happened on the southbound side near Exit 7 in York just before 6 p.m., with one of the trucks ending up on its side and blocking two lanes of the highway.
