NASCAR has pushed back on Denny Hamlin's reasons for teams to shoot down the 'run what you brung' exhibition race

NASCAR's Mike Forde has responded to Denny Hamlin's claims that the proposed All-Star "Run What Ya Brung" feature would have cost the teams roughly $2 million.

One of the rumors I heard is that a few weeks ago NASCAR kind of floated the idea of ‘Hey, do you guys want to do a run what you brung race at North Wilkesboro for All-Star?’” said Bozi Tatarevic on his Bozi Breakdown podcast.
