Aston Villa have now claimed successive wins over Wolves for the first time since doing the double over them in the 2003-04 English Premier League season

Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins is “100 per cent” fit to face Wolverhampton Wanderers, his head coach Unai Emery has said. The 28-year-old was substituted off in the 60th minute of Tuesday’s three-goal Champions League victory at Young Boys and was seen holding ice to his leg muscles on the substitute’s bench.

Aston Villa made it back-to-back comebacks by beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1, after initially going a goal down at Villa Park in the first half. However, much like last week's win over Everton, Villa stayed patient and found a way in the second half, ignited by a goal from Ollie Watkins.
