Sophie Turner is in talks to play video game character Lara Croft in a new live-action 'Tomb Raider' series from Phoebe Waller-Bridge at Amazon MGM.

While the role of Sansa Stark is what Sophie Turner is most famous for, the actor has also played Jean Grey in two X-Men films and starred in various TV shows across multiple roles, many of which as the lead. For her work in Game of Thrones, she's won awards as the Best Global Actress, Best UK TV Actress, and Best Supporting Actress in years past.

Sophie Turner started out as a successor to a throne in ancient (fictional) times, but will her next series lead be studying those old texts? According to The Hollywood Reporter, Turner is in negotiations to star in Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s adaptation of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider for Prime Video.
