Nintendo might announce more aspects of the Switch 2 before it’s actually revealed, as this information demonstrates. But do not expect an actual look at the hardware before 2025, and don’t be shocked if it looks…a lot like the current Switch with better graphics.

While the Switch 2 may be backwards compatible, Nintendo would not confirm whether we'll still be able to use our old cartridges.

There isn't much time left before the slated Nintendo Switch 2 reveal deadline, but fortunately an ideal timeframe has become obvious.

Players will be able to carry over game purchases, memberships and other related services.
