Leipzig has completed the signing of Netherlands midfielder Xavi Simons from Paris Saint-Germain. He’s contracted to 2027.

German media reported Leipzig paid a club record of around 50 million euros ($52 million) for the 21-year-old Netherlands international.

Attacking midfielder Xavi Simons has signed for RB Leipzig on a permanent deal after an 18-month loan spell at the Bundesliga team from Paris St Germain, the two clubs said on Thursday.

RB Leipzig have made Xavi Simons' loan from Paris Saint-Germain permanent, breaking the club's transfer record to sign the attacking midfielder until 2027.
