Former USC Trojans coach Pete Carroll was formally announced as the coach of the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday. The introductory press conference was full of the signature Carroll enthusiasm and a surprise appearance from NFL running back Marshawn Lynch.

Carroll, 73, was introduced as the next head coach in Las Vegas alongside new general manager John Spytek to begin the week. A coach with a long track record in the NFL, Carroll set the bar high for himself right out of the gate.
