Douglas County officials violated state labor laws by discouraging employees to vote on forming a union with the state’s Fraternal Order of Police, according to a letter from the CDLE.

Colorado’s labor department has determined Douglas County, from the sheriff’s office to the board of commissioners, violated state labor practices by allegedly attempting to influence votes during a union election process earlier this year.
