Cristiano Ronaldo was in disbelief after the tragic news that his Portugal teammate, forward Diogo Jota, died in a car crash in Spain on Thursday morning.

Diogo Jota and André Silva died in a single-car crash near Zamora, Spain, after their Lamborghini drove off the road and burst into flames. Jota had gotten married just weeks beforehand to Rute Cardoso, with whom he shares three children. He had just wrapped up a season where Liverpool had won the English Premiere League title.

The world-famous soccer player mourned the death of Liverpool team member Diogo Jota. "We will all miss you," Ronaldo said.
