The Bruins hope to keep their own point streak going while keeping the Devils on the skids on Wednesday. Jeremy Swayman gets the start.

Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman will be between the pipes for the Original Six club against the Devils. It is not surprising that the Bruins chose Swayman to start against the Devils. While the Devils have been having a rough stretch, they are still one of the top teams in the NHL.

The Bruins held a 5-4 lead with under a minute remaining in regulation when Swayman gained control of the puck and clearly attempted to score a goal with the Ottawa net empty. Instead, the Senators’ Josh Norris gloved the clearing attempt, kept the puck in the offensive zone and eventually scored the game-tying goal at 19:48.

In a season where little has seemingly gone right for the Bruins, Jeremy Swayman is showing signs of turning a corner.
