Funerals have been held to mourn the dead from Tuesday's ski resort fire in Bolu Province, Türkiye, gathering friends and families of the victims and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who declared a national day of mourning on Wednesday.

Yerlikaya noted that search-and-rescue operations at the fire site had been completed. He also expressed condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of Türkiye. The minister stated that the bodies of 52 victims had been identified by their families.
