Daniel Driscoll secured bipartisan support in a 66-28 Senate vote to be appointed to a top civilian position overseeing the Army and advising the Secretary of Defense.
The Senate has confirmed Dan Driscoll to be the next Army secretary, voting 66-28 to put the former soldier and Iraq War veteran at the helm of the service
The 38-year-old Army veteran has promised to focus on recruiting and industrial base support in his new leadership role.
