The PGA Tour made official what Golfweek reported earlier this week — that the 2025 Genesis Invitational will head down I-405 from its usual home at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades to Torrey Pines (South Course) in La Jolla, near San Diego.

The PGA Tour is relocating the Genesis Invitational out of wildfire-ravaged Los Angeles, announcing it will be held Feb. 13-16 at Torrey Pines in San Diego.

Because of the tragic wildfires affecting Los Angeles, the PGA Tour has moved the Genesis Invitational to San Diego.

The tournament hosted by Tiger Woods is relocating from Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades due to ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

Riviera Country Club sits right in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, which was devastated by a fire earlier this month.

The PGA Tour announced on Friday that the Genesis Invitational will be moved from the Riviera Country Club to Torrey Pines on Feb. 13-16.

Keeping the tourney in California and the proximity to Riviera Country Club were primary factors for selecting Torrey Pines for the Feb. 13-16 to the event.

There are rumors speculating that the Genesis Invitational, a signature event will be moved to Torrey Pines in February.

The Farmers Insurance Open heads into its final round at the iconic Torrey Pines Golf Course on Saturday with Harris English leading the charge.
