Fans who spent years watching the Marvel movies in order know that the Russo Brothers' Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one of the strongest entries out of the entire franchise. Anthony Mackie recently reminisced about a scene from that 2014 movie,

Mackie’s predecessor in the Captain America suit, Chris Evans, held the celebratory Daytona 500 position in 2014. That appearance came six weeks before the release of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” Mackie joins a long list of actors, including last year’s grand marshal, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

When asked if Anthony Mackie is the MCU’s permanent Captain America, Moore simply says: “He is. He is. And we’re so happy to have him.”
