Funeral services for Grammy-nominated singer Angie Stone will be held in Georgia and South Carolina after her tragic crash.

The Neo Soul singer was killed early Saturday morning when riding back into Atlanta from Alabama when the vehicle she was in was hit by a rig and flipped over.

Lightfoot said Stone was a great performer, but an even better person. “Angie was a soulful spirit and she will be immensely missed,” Lightfoot said. Stone was leaving Mobile and headed back here to Atlanta when the incident happened. The incident remains under investigation.
