Thirteen international student at the University of Connecticut have had their visas restored by the federal government, according to a university spokesperson on Monday.

Thirteen students at the University of Connecticut whose visa records had been terminated saw them restored after the Trump administration backtracked.

The federal government has restored visas for 13 UConn international students, according to the university. Twelve current students and one recent graduate who was completing postgraduate training recently had their Student and Exchange Visitor Information System records terminated,
