Angel City defender Savy King is "responsive" and receiving further medical attention at a hospital after collapsing in the second half of the NWSL team's 2-0 win over Utah Royals on Friday.

The 20-year-old U.S. youth international received treatment on the pitch at the BMO Stadium before being taken to hospital.

Savy King is in stable condition and will be undergoing further medical evaluation after collapsing on the field during Angel City's match against the Utah Royals on Friday. The NWSL said in a statement that King "remains stable" after being transported to a local hospital by EMS and she will undergo more testing.
