The Sixers drafted Grant in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft. Grant played for them until 2016 when they traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder. From then on, Grant developed into an excellent player, which has helped him earn some big paydays throughout his career.

It hasn't been the best year for Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid. He has only played 13 games thus far, and even when he's on the floor, the superstar big man isn't near the MVP-level he was playing at in 2023.

Joel Embiid was a partial participant in practice for the 76ers on Monday, as a team with a rare burst of wind in its sails approaches a season-long homestand.

"So, the next few weeks are important, what happens there," Sixers majority owner Josh Harris said. "We're going to see what happens there and make a good decision. And we'll audible at that point, and we'll find the right spot.
