Pakistan has rejected the Indian home minister’s remarks linking militants killed in Kashmir to the country, calling them “fabrications,” as tensions between the South Asian rivals remain high.

Three months after militants killed 26 tourists at a scenic meadow in the Himalayas, India said on Tuesday that its security forces had found and killed three gunmen behind the massacre.

The April gun massacre killed 26 people, mostly Hindu tourists. New Delhi blamed the attack on Pakistan, which denied responsibility.
