Winter Storm Enzo is already impacting portions of the U.S. South and could drop several inches of snow in spots not typically accustomed to snow and ice.

A winter storm dumped snow across the Deep South Tuesday, leaving areas that rarely see this kind of weather with dangerous travel conditions, widespread airport closures and snow days. Here’s what it looked like from Texas across Louisiana,

The state has seen two outbreaks of winter weather that impacted north and south Alabama with several inches of snow.

On Monday at 1:26 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning valid from Tuesday noon until Wednesday 6 a.m. for Coffee, Dale, Henry, Geneva and Houston counties.
