The Philadelphia 76ers made a low-ball offer to Guerschon Yabusele once free agency began, making way for him to sign with the Knicks

The Philadelphia 76ers suffered their first loss in free agency when Guerschon Yabusele left to join the New York Knicks. After five seasons overseas, Yabusele returned to the NBA and averaged 11.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while shooting 50.1% from the floor and 38% from deep in 70 games for the Sixers.

Guerschon Yabusele is appreciative of the 76ers. But instead of re-signing with them, the power forward agreed to a deal with the New York Knicks. And it has nothing to do with the Eastern Conference finalist Knicks being a more successful team.
