Eva Longoria is standing by her community, as multiple out-of-control wildfires continue to devastate Los Angeles. On Wednesday, the actor and director joined several organizations—National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON),

The Eva Longoria Foundation with support of the Courage and Civility Award on Monday pledged $1 million to support California wildfire relief efforts.

The star, who received the $50 million prize from the Amazon founder last year, will donate a part of it to the Latino Community Foundation as well as the California Community Foundation.

"Everybody who's out there and helping and doing their part, thank you," the actress said in an emotional Instagram video
