The recall affects products distributed to retailers and wholesalers across 25 states, including New York, New, Jersey, and Connecticut.

A voluntary recall of Lactaid Milk has been issued by HP Hood LLC after a possible almond allergen was discovered. The FDA made the announcement on Friday.

The FDA has warned that people with an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds could have a reaction if they drink Lactaid from this time range in September.
