The sentence of Robert Woodland was reduced from 12.5 years to 9.5 years on Tuesday, his attorney, Stanislav Kshevitsky, told Reuters. It’s unclear why Woodland’s sentence was shortened.

Robert Romanov Woodland was taken into custody on Jan. 5 on illegal acquisition or possession of drug charges, the Ostankino District Court said. He will remain in custody until at least March 5.
