The mobile multiplayer mode was added to Stardew Valley alongside the game’s 1.6 update, which hit consoles and mobile on Monday. That means everyone now has access to the big 1.6 update across platforms, plus a smaller, quality-of-life update that’s new for all.

The latest iteration of Eric "ConcernedApe" Barones cult classic Stardew Valley farm simulator is now available. The update contains a host of new features and assets as well as a sizable secret for mobile players: multiplayer mode.

Through the Stardew Valley 1.6.9 update, now available on Android and iOS, players can join up in multiplayer sessions to explore each other’s farms and work together, just like they’ve been able to on desktop and console for a while now.
