After four years of annual Nike-designed All-Star uniforms, the league confirmed Monday it would scrap the special All-Star outfits.

Major League Baseball will make two changes related to its uniforms over the course of the next two seasons, the league announced on Monday. The first change will have players return to wearing their primary home and road uniforms at the All-Star Game starting next season.

In 2021, when the MLB All-Star Game returned from a pandemic-forced hiatus, it did so with specially designed National League and American League uniforms for the players to wear on-field, rather than the original look of filling with the diamond with the home and road jerseys of various clubs.
