Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for the start of training camp later this month. With the 2025 NFL season right around the corner, the team is looking to get the sour taste of last year's Super Bowl loss out of their mouth.

“You know, it is really out of my control, honestly. But I think there’s a — Arrowhead is a special place ,” Mahomes told CNBC’s Alex Sherman. “It’s a special place that doesn’t come around a lot of times. It’s my favorite place to play in the NFL, not just because it’s my team, but you can feel the history of it when you play.”
