Apple's latest MacBook Pro sports more ports and RAM for the same starting price. While the base model is short on RAM and ports, Apple's M3 MacBook is still a portable powerhouse.

Compared to the M3 chip, the M4 chip has an extra 3 billion transistors and more memory bandwidth, great for faster processing speeds. For most devices, it also has a higher max memory capacity than the M3 chip. The only exception here is the iPad Pro, which has a max memory capacity of 16GB due to its own limitations.

Apple just released the new M4 MacBook Pro with a faster chip, but the model it replaced is still no slouch—especially when you can grab one on a crazy clearance sale.
