Avoiding interceptions in camp seems less impressive when Tagovailoa is facing a depleted secondary, which recently had cornerback Kader Kohou and safety Ashtyn Davis both go down with injuries. Kohou is now out for season with his ailing knee.

The Miami Dolphins held their sixth training camp practice, the first in pads. Highlights included strong performances by De'Von Achane and Willie Gay Jr. Chop Robinson wore the orange jersey, awarded for outstanding practice performance.
