The ongoing feud between NXT champion Ethan Page and Trick Williams added a new twist. Roxanna Perez and Giulia also continue to add momentum towards their championship match. Both feuds will get a chance to settle the score in the ring with title matches in the first CW episode.

CM Punk will be the special guest referee when Ethan Page defends his NXT Championship against Trick Williams on the October 1st episode of NXT in Chicago. Punk made the announcement on the Spetember 17th episode of NXT after Williams and Page signed the contract for the match.

Pete Dunne and Trick Williams will clash in a Last Man Standing match next week on WWE NXT after their previous encounter ended in a double countout.
