Auston Matthews and John Tavares each had a goal and an assist to lead the Toronto Maple Leafs to their fifth straight win, 3-2 over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night. Goalie: Belfour's stint with the Maple Leafs was impactful even though it lasted just three seasons (2002-03 to 2005-06). He had 17 shutouts, most of any Toronto goalie in the quarter century. He's also second in wins since 2000 with 93, trailing only Frederik Andersen (149), who played 98 more games.

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Monday that defenseman Chris Tanev would miss their game against the Winnipeg Jets due to a lower-body injury. Tanev, who has been a key part of the Leafs’ defensive lineup this season, was a late scratch after participating in pre-game warmups.
