According to Deadline, the eight-episode third season of Euphoria will feature a time jump that takes the characters out of high school. It is set to premiere in 2026. Not returning alongside Reid include Algee Smith and Nika King. Angus Cloud, who played the series regular of “Fezco” in the first two seasons, died on July 31, 2023.

After Euphoria experienced Season 3 delays last March, it’s a relief for fans of one of the best A24 shows that filming is up and running. If the third season is likely the final season, it’ll be great to see standout characters like Rue,

Much of the original cast — Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Eric Dane, are returning. In addition to Reid, Barbie Ferreira announced in April 2022 she was also leaving. Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, died at age 25 in July 2023.

Storm Reid has expressed a positive outlook on her departure from Euphoria, despite the long wait for its third season. Speaking at the Time Women of the Year dinner in West Hollywood, the actress shared with Variety that her relationship with co-star Zendaya remains strong, even though their characters’ storyline has come to an end for now.
