Shoplifting has become so bad at one Rite Aid store in Southern California that nearly all products have been locked in glass barricades.  It’s not unusual for customers at stores like Walgreens, Walmart or Target to have to call for assistance to get some of the higher-value items out of a locked case,

"We are taking an active role in helping law enforcement in their pursuit of shoplifters...," Rite Aid wrote in a statement.

A Compton Rite Aid has locked up most items due to shoplifting, frustrating customers with the new inconvenience.
