Nigel Farage has been dealt a major blow after Reform UK failed to win a crunch by-election.Welsh nationalists Plaid Cymru claimed a historic win in Caerphilly as Labour – who have dominated politics in the town for more than a century – were left humiliated.
On Monday, Reform UK announced the suspension of four KCC councillors, including Mr Thomas, whom Ms Kemkaran threatened to mute during the meeting. Mr Thomas had questioned whether Reform had the “right” leader and cabinet, before he was muted by the council leader.
At least five Reform UK councillors have lodged official complaints about the leadership style of the top table at Kent County Council (KCC), the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) says. It comes after a clip of the council's Reform UK leader Linden Kemaran was leaked to The Guardian showing her shouting and swearing during a council meeting.
Reform councillors are more aligned with Greens when it comes to building more houses but take quite different views on crime and tax and spend.
