The Denver Nuggets have taken a 2-1 lead into Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Ball Arena. The Thunder have had the upper hand for much of this series, but the Nuggets have executed better down the stretch to get their noses in front.

Jalen Williams made a pair of free throws with a second left to clinch the result, after the 3-point line served as a house of horrors for both teams in a short-rest matinee. Denver was 11 of 45. Oklahoma City was 10 of 41, prevailing despite a 36% shooting day from the field.

Oklahoma City repeatedly “fouled up three” in the closing seconds, and Denver rallied for a stunning victory to open the Western Conference semifinals.
