Montreal police say they're investigating a hit-and-run that has left a 33-year-old man in critical condition at the hospital. Around 5:40 a.m., police received a 911 call reporting a two-vehicle collision on Maurice-Duplessis and Louis-H.

It happened just before 2:35 a.m. around Route 300 and Route 17K.

A pedestrian has died after she was struck by a vehicle in Quebec City on Christmas Eve. Quebec City police say they received a call for the collision on Tuesday at around 4:20 p.m. A 27-year-old pedestrian was found unconscious and attempts were made to resuscitate her.

According to police, the driver, a 69-year-old man, was leaving his spot in a parking lot in the Lachine borough when he hit the woman.
