The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued an Endangered/Missing Child Alert for a 13-year-old Jackson girl.

CHP reports that both children have been found and the Amber Alert has been deactivated. Below is the original story: The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert across much of Central and Southern California Wednesday as authorities searched for a man suspected of killing a woman in Kings County and abducting their two young daughters.

HOUSTON - An Amber Alert has been issued for a 15-year-old last seen in Missouri City on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities are searching for 15-year-old Serenity Turner-Douglas. She is described as a Black female, 5'2" tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Detectives located the suspect and the children by tracking signals from both his cellphone and his slain girlfriend’s, which had gone missing, Kings County Sheriff David Robinson told reporters at a news conference on Thursday.

Detectives believe [the suspect] left the residence ... with two female children he shared with the victim, ages 2 and 3,” police said in a statement.

Authorities said Serenity Turner-Douglas was last seen with Megan LeCour at Elkins High School on Wednesday afternoon.
