Construction crews are making progress on the University of Kansas’ brand new football stadium with the final beam set in place. Hundreds of trade workers, and donors, alongside a few of the players and coaches celebrated the placement of the stadium’s final steel beam on Thursday,

The final steel beam was lifted in the air and installed as part of Phase one of the new David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium Thursday afternoon.

Kansas Athletics held a topping-out ceremony for its stadium renovation project on Thursday afternoon, marking a significant milestone as it continues on track toward the August 2025 deadline for the project’s first phase.
