Pakistan has rejected the Indian home minister’s remarks linking militants killed in Kashmir to the country, calling them “fabrications,” as tensions between the South Asian rivals remain high.

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) -The Indian home minister's account of forces killing who he said were three Pakistanis involved in the April attack on Hindu tourists in the Jammu and Kashmir federal territory was "replete with fabrications", Pakistan's foreign ministry said on Wednesday.

Three months after militants killed 26 tourists at a scenic meadow in the Himalayas, India said that its security forces had found and killed three gunmen behind the massacre.
