Houston police are working to apprehend two women suspected in a slew of armed robberies, sometimes attacking the same store multiple times

Two women have been linked to a series of armed robberies at grocery stores across northwest Houston, and police are asking for the public's help in identifying them.

Authorities say the homeowner received an alert that a back window of his townhome on the 3900 block of Hare Street had been tampered with around 4:45 a.m. Rushing back home, he was shocked to find an unknown man leaving through a side door. When confronted, the intruder pointed a handgun before fleeing the scene on a bicycle.

A man named Ronnie Hunts was arrested for attempting to rob a Houston store by threatening the clerk, who then contacted the police, culminating in Hunts' apprehension and charges.

Houston police are asking for the public's help identifying two women involved in a string of aggravated robberies across the city.
