Economic pain worldwide will trigger capital flight to U.S. Treasurys, driving down those yields, investment manager Louis Navellier says. The Fed will follow.

The Federal Reserve cut interest rates by a quarter point, its third reduction this year, but suggested only two more reductions next year as inflation lingers.

Interest rate cuts — or a lack thereof — could prove disappointing to real estate next year, though. In its post-meeting report, the Fed hinted that there may only be two cuts next year, below the four the Fed projected in September and the three projected by economists in a recent Bloomberg survey.
