Colorado's Senate passed SB25-003 to enforce the state's high-capacity magazine ban and restrict firearms with detachable magazines and rate-increasing accessories.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - The Colorado State Senate passed a controversial bill on Tuesday. The bill restricts the sale of semi-automatic guns. It passed despite two of its original democratic sponsors joining Republicans to vote against it.

The two measures now head to the House, where both already have sufficient support to clear the chamber and head for Gov. Jared Polis’ desk.
