Derrick Henry, 34, was taken into custody while at Temple Hospital around 9:30 a.m. Friday. Police say he is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl around 1:20 a.m. on Nov. 1 near 8th and Chestnut streets along Jewelers’ Row.

A man was arrested and charged with raping a teen girl in Center City earlier this month. On Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1:20 a.m., a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted along the 800 block of Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. Police later identified Derrick Henry, a 34-year-old homeless man, as the suspect in the incident.
