A search for survivors was continuing off the Indonesian island of Bali on Thursday after a passenger ferry sank overnight in bad weather, killing at least five people.

An Indonesian ferry carrying at least 65 passengers sank in the Bali Strait on Wednesday night, leaving at least five people dead and more than 30 missing, according to local reports and Indonesia’s National Search and Rescue Agency,

The ship was carrying 65 people when it sank on its way to the Indonesian resort island, a popular tourist destination.
