ATLANTA - A shooting turned Atlanta's Cleveland Avenue into a crime scene overnight. The shooting happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Christmas at the Pavilion Place Apartments on the 500 block of the road.

A deadly drive-by shooting occurred in southwest Atlanta on Christmas Eve around 6 p.m. The incident took place in the 1100 block of Smith Street near Roy Street. A woman was found with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are actively investigating, gathering evidence, and seeking surveillance footage.
