TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Former US Army Pacific Commander Charles Flynn is visiting Taiwan during the Han Kuang 41 war games, reports said Saturday.

The annual 10-day Han Kuang exercise will test Taiwan’s ability to respond to a Chinese attack on its command structure.

The Pentagon is urging Japan and Australia to clarify what role they would play if the US and China went to war over Taiwan, the Financial Times reported
