The original kiss cam footage from the Coldplay concert on July 16 went viral and prompted a tidal wave of memes ( even from big brands such as Aldi's ), as well as fake statements claiming to be from Byron, Coldplay and someone claiming to have recently been fired by the company, among others.

The mascots recreated the cringeworthy reactions immortalized in the viral video where Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the head of human resources, Kristin Cabot, were spotlighted on the concert’s kiss cam at a Coldplay show on July 16.
